Sailin’ away…

bg-IslandPrincessThis Fall we will be “sailin’ away” on a cruise to Mexico, and another pass through the Canal (it’s number twenty-nine for me). It really never gets old… the cruising thing. Nights of entertainment and days of eating all kinds of fun things… Yes, it never gets old.

Cruising...And every ship has its own personality. Even the older Celebrity Century, which is a little bit smaller (815 ft.) than a typical Panamax ship (950 ft.), but hailing to a different era of wood paneling, brass fittings, and marble floors. There has been talk of retiring the Century, OR upgrading her to the current standards of Celebrity. My vote, of course, would be to keep the good parts and add in the “new and improved.”

If you want to share your opinion, in the form of a vote, FaceBook them at: Celebrity Cruise Lines And let them know that older can be better, or at least worth hanging onto.

Personally, I like old things that have a little character and wear… Like me.

I will post all the fun details of the upcoming cruises, complete with photos, after we get back… It is never a good idea to let the burglars know when you are away.
