Stellarium is a free software application for your PC, Mac, smart phone, and even Linux systems, and it turns your device into a planetarium. Yes! You can roam around the stars for free, although there may be a charge for checked baggage.

So if you are new to the night sky and want to learn where the constellations are, find the International Space Station, or any other cool science thing, I highly recommend this application, and did I mention it is FREE.
